LMD™ IPM - LA Printers Fair Visit
We had the pleasure of visiting the International Printing Museum, which offered a display of different types of machines that were used for printing during the 19th century. The most wonderful part of this exhibit was the fact that there were ongoing demonstrations of how the machinery works, it was fascinated to see such remarkable pieces move as if they never stopped working. According the museum website, the museum was founded by David Jacobson and Ernest A. Lindner in 1988. It began with Linder’s original collection of machinery and it grew by means of donation and acquisitions.
In this particular day, the museum was hosting it’s 3rd Annual Printing Fair, which welcomed vendors from across the country, this was a great way to get updated with letterpress printers and even silkscreeners.
